About us
The ML Anti-Violence resource center was inspired by my namesake and beloved grandmother, Mary Louise, whose resilience as a survivor of unimaginable violence continues to guide my work. Her courage inspired me to act. Without even realizing it at first, I built a violence intervention program for court-mandated men and women designed to confront violence at its roots and foster healing, accountability, and safer relationships. To continue honoring my grandma's legacy, ML Anti-Violence Resource Center strives to continue confronting all forms of violence, disrupting harmful cycles, and creating safe spaces for families and communities everywhere.

Our values
Our mission is to disrupt cycles of interpersonal violence and reduce mass violence by equipping places of worship, businesses, and community organizations with evidence-informed workshops that foster safety, resilience, healing, and safe spaces.

Our impact
Many relationships have been changed and improved by Connie's approach to addressing interpersonal abuse. Male group participants were very receptive to receiving engaging, evidence-based education on building healthy relationships and the importance of accountability. Male and female survivors of interpersonal violence found a supportive, empowering environment to learn, heal, and grow. Connie has successfully facilitated violence intervention groups for all expressions of interpersonal love.
